As the drummer, guitarist and songwriter for iconic early punk and hardcore bands Massmedia and Huvudtvätt / Headcleaners, he made quite a mark before leaving for the USA and an prolific career as a singer / songwriter in Minneapolis where he also runs a studio and produces artist like GB Leighton, Martin Zellar and Tina Schlieske.
He decided on recording a cover of Erkänn; a song that Massmedia had released before Patrik joined the band in 1979. He vividly remembers hearing it on late-night radio and loving it. Little did he know that a few months later he would become the new drummer for the band at the age of fourteen. A life changing experience that to date has resulted in nine solo albums.
